Objective of job
Work with LCM and other members of Compliance Office in supporting CEO, CFO as well as Heads of Sales and After Sales to safeguard that MBCL and its affiliate companies are acting in full Compliance with the laws and with the Daimler policies( current focus is Anti-bribery). Work with LCM and ICFR manager as well as other functions of risk management to ensure harmonization of FCPA and ICFR controls and contribute to company control system maintenance( not limited to FCPA controls) as well as other risk mitigation measures(including commercial/fauld/operational risk).
Job designation
1. Work with LCM and Regional Compliance Officer as well as DAG Compliance Operation in reviewing, communicating and supporting implementation of compliance risk-minigating measure/process. Work with LCM to manage, coordinate, monitor and plan FCPA internal control program for MBCL and its regional offices. 2. Advise control owner on internal control process and support control owner to adapt Daimler control framework("Compliance Package") into MBCL business process and operation, and ensure it is consistent with Chinese business & legal environment. Independently assesses whether the system, process and procedures of internal control are adequate, reliable and effective via daily consultation or walkthrough. Issues are timely esculated and reported to LCM and DAG Compliance Operation for resolution. Prepare reports to LCM and control owner on status of internal control program(e.g. control updating). Act as coordinator between internal/external auditors and control owners, and analyses audit findings with appropriate recommendations. 3. Identify training needs in responsible business area and provide internal control awareness training to newly assigned control owner. 4. Monitor industry and regulatory developments and timely report to LCM. Lead information management within compliance office to ensure all documentation(e.g. consultation e-mail, due diligence questionnaire, control design and supporting documentations) is in line with DAG requirement of retention of documentation. 5. Work with LCM to select, train, monitor and evaluate support staff.
Qualification required

Functionality Skills: 1) Ability to analyze, interpret and apply FCPA compliance requirement and local regulation as well as company policies. 2) Advanced skill in communicating in critical situation, orally and in writing with business owner; strong interpersonal, oral and writing communication skills in both English and Chinese; 3) Master skill in creative and adaptive program planning, design, implementation, maintenance and evaluation. 4) Ability to make effective presentation for internal and external audiences; 5) PC literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience and Education: 1) Advanced degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in forensic accounting or a related field; or advanced degree in economic law from Law school in China; procession of a certificate as a CPA or a CIA or a FCPA(Forensic Certificated Public Accountant) or admitted as an attorney in the PRC Bar is preferred. 2) At least 5 years experience in practicing law or with experience in the areas of forensic accounting or internal audit in international companies; 3) Knowledge of FCPA and other applicable anti-bribery laws, accounting principles, auditing standards, financial management practise and budgeting as well as project management. 4) Being familiar with internal control framework and business operation. 5) Experience working with consultant is also required. Management and Leadership skills: 1) Ability to direct and train others of comparable skill; 2) Strong coordination and facilitation skills; 3) Analytical thinking and results-oriented.
