职位描述/要求:

Objective of job
Ensure the success of MB products in China, by defining product & price specifically based on HQ offering, competitive suitation and market feedback. The product and price proposals have to follow the corporate guidelines. Besides, data management has to be ensured in needed quality. Also co-ordintation of market research projects has to be successfully supported and research results then analyzed.
Job designation
1. Monitor Product and Price Development in the market
• Continuously monitor products and product offerings within China market incl. MB and competitors products.
• Evaluate market threats and chances.
Prepare briefing documents on market situation for management.
• Make new offering proposal if needed.

2. Product Planning and Pricing definition:
• As a result of market monitoring and yearly planning, prepare product and pricing proposal. For brand new cars, define positioning.
• Conduct internal price and positioning discussions within S&M and MBCL,
• Communicate new prices and positioning internally.

3. Launch Management
• Regularly track new product launch activities, including other department activities.
Ensure that all activities are in line and on time.
• Organize launch meetings to ensure smooth communication between departments.
• Be launch contact person for all involved departments.

4. Data Management
• Prepare documentation for set up of master data
• Plan data submission in Finance System Impact
• Update product data in Dealer Management System
• Update Finance Option database

5. Contact function for HQ Product Management Department
• Prepare general market information in ppt format to inform counterparts on on-going activities and general market feedback.
• Feedback product specific needs to HQ to ensure that suitable products are offered to customers

6. Dealer communication
• Get regular feedback from Dealers on product and pricing.
• Participate in Dealer Product Workshop.

7. Research
• Definition of research objectives for the above mentioned products
• Analyzing of different research results from own research activities as well as
• Preparation of information exchange.
Qualification required
Education
Economics / Commerce (with marketing focus) or technical university degree or mechanical engineering / education with supplementary experience in the automotive industry

Experience
min. 2 years working experience; international experience / working in an international company;

Special Knowledge
Fluent (spoken / written) English and Mandarin; very good MS office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); having driving license pv, good analyzing and structuring skills as well as presentation skills. detailed minded, reliable personality who is able to think comprehensively, works in an accurate manner, coordinating and managing complex data. This requires teamwork ability, as data co-ordination across departments is necessary.
