| Provide technical (including tools and equipment) support, information and advice to the regional service network to enable workshops to serve customers efficiently. |
| Job description: |
| ▪ Advise on enquiries from the service network and assist to solve technical problems. ▪ Provide field support on particular irregularities. ▪ Analyse product problems and prepare technical reports. ▪ Liaise with the supplier in the set up of new dealerships and problem solving process. ▪ Monitor compliance with guidelines for repair processes and operation of equipment, advise on use of information sources. ▪ Conduct update technical information sessions, provide on-the-job training. ▪ Monitor the processing of service measures/recall campaign. ▪ Coordinate with the MBCL central department for updates on MB standards for tools & equipment. Liaise with local suppliers on pricing, contract terms & conditions. Develop and maintain a database containing all information on tools & equipment to support the network. ▪ Handle the administration and logistics of all aftersales IT systems including Star Diagnosis, EPC/WIS/ASRA/DAS and licence keys for the Region. |
| Qualification required |
| ▪ Skills/Experience/Attributes: - 3 years of workshop operation experience (preferably MB). ▪ Specific knowledge: - Fluent in English, Mandarin; - Computer literate with MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, e-mail and web - Positive attitude; - Analytical skills; - Consistency and accuracy in administrative task; - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; - Able to work as a team with other departments; ▪ Education/Training: - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive or other Technical fields; - DCAG/MBCL: technical/organizational training; |
