


On August 26 of year 2008, as the curtains went down to mark a perfect ending for the 2008 Olympic Games, the doors at the Mercedes-Benz "Swing for the Stars" Junior Tennis Summer Camp of Guangzhou were opened with full of warm welcome. 33 your campers from Guangzhou and outskirts were starting their tennis trip in the beautiful city with 8 national-graded coaches. The Guangzhou summer camp is among the three "Swing for the Stars" Junior Tennis Summer Camps set up by Mercedes-Benz with one in Tianjin and another in Nanjing, and the Camps are an integral part of the youth tennis development program of Mercedes-Benz "Swing for the Stars", a program which is funded by Mercedes-Benz to provide training for the young players from all over the country and coaches at the base level. The program aims to train and build up a strong repertory of tennis players in China with all-around skills, and help those young players to be real stars in the future.
