Objective of job
• Audit individual dealers network on the basis of standards set by HQ. Develop and improve the level of professionalism in the retail network in PRC. (Time used: 80%) • Carry out dealer audits/POCC(Pre-opening Compliance Check) at dealer premises and communicate result, including entering/upload data in auditing tool, communicating results to dealers and all relevant teams & departments in MBCL & BBDC. (Time used: 5%) • Prepare audit/Follow-up/POCC schedule, audit evaluation result summaries and information to management, report audit result to Mgt, to ensure correct bonus payments. (Time used: 5%) • Cooperate & communicate with all teams in ND and all departments including CAS, S&M, dealer, and BBDC on all Audit/POCC works. (Time used: 5%) • Coordinate to precede application of standard exemption/appeal with Mgt. and communicate result to RM/DM. (Time used: 5%)
Job designation
1. Audit dealerships in accordance with Dealer Standards • Perform a key role as link between departments in creation of audit schedule • Audit individual dealers network on the basis of standards set by HQ, including ensuring dealer compliance with Mercedes-Benz corporate identity • Cooperate with joint venture partners in carrying out audits • Present audit results to dealers • Develop and improve the level of professionalism in the retail network in PRC • Travel to all dealerships in China in order to carry out audits • Cooperate and communicate with all teams in ND and all departments including CAS, S&M, dealer, and joint venture partner on all audit-related issues. 2. Carry out Pre-Opening Compliance Checks at new dealerships • Perform a key role as link between departments in creation of POCC schedule • Pre-opening Compliance Checks at dealer premises • Communicate result to dealers • Enter/upload data in auditing tool • Manage POCC checklist • Cooperate and communicate with all teams in ND and all departments including CAS, S&M, dealer, and joint venture partner on all POCC-related issues. 3. Optimize dealer standards • Propose improvements to Dealer Standards to further optimize the Mercedes-Benz network in China • Regularly update and enhance guidelines, policies, processes and tools Assist in supplier selection and communication (quality, pricing, etc) 4. Communicate audit results and statistics • Create statistics for audit results and Pre-opening Compliance Checks • Communicate results and statistics to all relevant teams & departments in MBCL • Communicate results and statistics to joint venture partner • Cooperate and communicate with all teams in ND and all departments including CAS, S&M, dealer, and joint venture partner on all Audit/POCC-related issues. • Calculate dealer rewards and ensure correct bonus payments. Dealer exemptions and appeals • Coordinate dealer applications for standard exemption and appeal • Assist management as certain whether or not a dealer should be exempt from a certain standard • Communicate result to RM/DM.
Qualification required
Education • University/Diploma graduate in Marketing, Communication, Business Management , Engineering or related disciplines Experience • 4 years experience in area of network development or in a managerial role at a car dealership • experience in international company or work experience overseas • experience in auto Industry preferred Specific Knowledge • knowledge of sales and after sales business of a car dealership • knowledge of accounting principles • Proficient in Microsoft applications, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Chinese Word Processing • Customer-orientated mindset with good organizational and administrative skills • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a team player • Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken will be essential • Readiness to frequently travel and work in a regional context • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team • Very self-reliant working style • Flexibility and endurance • Willing to travel frequently
