Objective of job
• Develop, implement and evaluate the Management Training Program & Assessment Center strategy according to DAG – Global Training standards and dealership network business needs to increase the quality of retail management competency. Ensure professional communication and conflicte resolution with external key stakeholders (e.g. BBAC General Manager) Monitor continuously business needs from internal key stakeholders (e.g. S&M, ND, CAS) and develop customized management training initatives (e.g. District Manager Qualification).
Job designation
1. Management Training Strategy
• Develop the Training Program & Assessment Center strategy.
• Setup the Training Program & Assessment Center related forecast budget, project plans, facility requirements and human resource needs.
• Monitor regularly the performance/results of the Training Program & Assessment Center against defined KPIs (e.g. budget investment) and provide regular reports.

2. DAG Global Training - International Training Program (ITP)
• Ensure implemnation of localized mandatory ITP programs (e.g. C-Management).
• Decide optional ITP program elements based on overall MBCL strategy.
• Develop good working relationship with Gloal Training (e.g. active participation on international concept workshops and center of competence meetings)

3. Assessment Center Management
• Conduct needs analysis, develop, update and pilot-test Assessment Center tools based on Daimler LEAD competency framework to meet the required qualification level of the dealer management.
• Initiate regularly training for all internal assessors (e.g. District Managers, Dealer Groups) on updates of the AC tools to maintain a high quality standard of the Assessment Center.
• Align Assessment Center strategy and define specific competency requirements with core functions of S&M, CAS and ND to meet the overall company business plan.
• Steer and adress conflict cases (e.g. assessment center recommendation can not find approval of all involved parties) for immediate Steering Committee approval and feedback to dealer.

4. New Training Program Development
• Conduct training needs analysis with cross-departmental District Manager from MBCL & MBAFC to align with business needs.
• Set up training concept based on training needs analysis result and develop training content in collaboration with external consultants.
• Steer pilot training, align with departments and make adjustments regarding the results, to ensure the training quality.
• Analyze pilot results and prepare training summary to the management team related departments.
• Ensure Implementation of new training program as standard training offering.

5. Vendor Management
• Manage and guide smooth purchasing and financial processes between vendor and internal stakeholders (e.g. IPS/F&C) to meet the cost control and timeline.
• Develop and maintain a strategic network of quality vendors in the area of management assessment center and qualification programs.

6. People Management
• Manage the performance of subordinates by setting targets and monitoring results.
• Develop and motivate subordinates according to their abilities and needs of the Training & Retail Qualification department.
• Determine training needs and secure suitable training.
• Provide continuously guidance, support and feedback to subordinates.
• Team organizational design based on long-term business needs.
Qualification required
Education:
• University degree majored in human resource management, psychology or business administration, MBA is preferred.

Experience:
• Minimum 8 years total fulltime working experience in business management.
• Thereof minimum 2 years fulltime working experience in training-related field.
• Thereof minimum 3 years fulltime working experience on supervisory level (Team Manager).

Special Knowledge:
• Language & Computer Skills
Good written and spoken English.
Good MS-Office skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Technical Knowledge/Hard Skills
Profound knowledge of project management (e.g. management of internal and external stakeholders).
Solid knowledge of up-to-date adult education, training and coaching concepts.
Basic knowledge of retail business management.
