| • Proof-read and sign off translated material by external service provider • Co-ordinate with legal counsel to legally vet the translated materials • Co-ordinate with external service provider to ensure time schedule of the translation project is strictly followed • Monitor the progress of the translation project and make recommendation to modify if necessary • Other administrative issues support the operations |

| 1 Localization of Aftersales Information: - Coordinate & monitor the translation quality by the external service provide & to ensure the translated material are release on time; - Proof-read & sign off the translated material by the external service provider; - Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure the translated material fulfil the Chinese legal requirements; 2 Localization of Customer Literature: - Coordinate the local adaption of the customer literature in line with China specification - Coordinate & monitor the translation quality by the external service provide & to ensure the translated material are release on time; - Proof-read & sign off the translated material by the external service provider; - Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure the translated material fulfil the Chinese legal requirements; 3 Localization of MB Terminology - Define and verify the Chinese terms for the external translation companies; - To co-ordinate the set up and maintenance of the Daimler terminology database with DAG; 4 Localization of Warning Message from Instrument Cluster, COMAND system & Warning Label - Proof-read & sign off the translated warning messages by the external service providers; - Setup & maintain the warning message database 5 Development of Translation Styleguide - Define & setup the MB translation styleguide |
| Qualification required |
| University graduate, major in English language preferred 2-3 years experience in the aftersales technical area Native Chinese language and good or advanced written and spoken English, German is an advantage Computer skills, especially MS Office application incl. Word, Powerpoint & Excel is a must Good communication (in verbal and written), interpersonal and organization skills Willingness and ability to adapt to a variety of ethnic cultures and personalities Able to work independently as well as together with the team |
