| • To ensure DAG to fulfill the Chinese legal requirements on customer literature, aftersales information & warning messages • To prevent potential product liability dispute by assuring all documentation are legally approved by legal counsel • To provide the regulation consultation service for DAG-ET/EP for the development of new system in China market • Proof-read and sign off the translated material by external service providers • Co-ordination with external service provider to ensure time schedule of the translation project is strictly followed • Monitor the progress of the translation project and make recommendation to modify if necessary |

| 1. Localization of Aftersales Information, Customer Literature & Human Machine Interface • Setup the translation priority based on the market requirements; • Coordinate & monitor the translation quality by the external service provide & to ensure the translated material are release on time; • Proof-read & sign off the translated material by the external service provider; • Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure the translated material fulfil the Chinese legal requirements; 2. Localization of MB Terminology • Define and verify the Chinese terms for the external translation companies; • To co-ordinate the set up and maintenance of the Daimler terminology database with DAG; 3. Localization of Warning Message from Warning Label • Proof-read & sign off the translated warning messages by the external service providers; • Setup & maintain the warning message database 4. Development of Mercedes-Benz Technical Database • Proof-read & sign off the translated warning messages by the external service providers; • Setup & maintain the warning message database 5. Development of Translation Styleguide • Define & setup the MB translation styleguide |
| Qualification required |
| Education: -University graduate, major in Engineering preferred. -Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Experience (Art): -3-4 years of working experience in automotive industry. Specific Knowledge: -Computer skills, especially Transit tools & Acrobat Professional |
