Objective of job
Develop, implement and update effective reporting tools according to department-internal client business needs, training strategy and professional standards to establish an effective and reliable operative business reporting system. Manage stakeholders with relevant key data sources within the department and the company to facilitate up-to-date information. Prepare routine reports, analyse results and communicate useful insights. Identify needs of department-internal processes documentation and develop formal process map according to Mercedes-Benz standards to support overall quality management and clarify roles & responsibilities within the department.
Job designation
1. Training Report System Development & Update
Understand the business reporting requirements of department-internal clients for information, workflow, features, functions and interface.
Translate department-internal client requirements into specific project proposals (e.g. operative training center scorecard or training room booking system) and identify solutions in view of both technical and business suitability.
Develop and update effective reporting tools for department-internal clients including system design in Microsoft Excel/Access and guide relevant stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Define and conduct quality assurance practices and pilot testing to facilitate timely project completion and release sign-off.
Implement new reporting systems including communication, training and handbook as well as provide ongoing user support upon request.

2. Operative Business Analysis
Prepare and analyze accurately operative routine reports (e.g. operational efficiency of training centers) as well as suggrests actions.
Understand the data challenges of department-internal clients and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the required information.
Monitor training report results and KPIs, conduct further data analysis as required and provide recommendation for action.

3. Department Quality Management
Identify needs for existing or new department-internal business processes to close management gaps and optimize cooperation effectiveness.
Develop, update and document requirements and specifications of department-internal business processes in cooperation with the process owner.
Qualification required
Education:
• University degree majored in information systems, mathematics or business administration.

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years fulltime working experience of developing and implementing reporting systems at corporate or retail level.

Special Knowledge:
• Language & Computer Skills
Good written and spoken English.
Excellent MS-Office skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access).
Solid knowledge of Microsoft VBA Programming in Excel and Access.
• Technical Knowledge/Hard Skills
Basic knowledge of project management (e.g. management of internal and external stakeholders).
Basic knowledge of financial process and reporting standards.
Basic knowledge of general business wokflows.
Basic knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz retail network in China.
