| Assist the Manager for smart product management to ensure the success of smart products line on the Chinese market. Target is the development of strategies for optimum exploitation of existing and future smart market potentials to ensure successful and profitable sales in the Chinese market. Main instruments are defining product & prices specifically based on market research and competitor analyses. The product and price proposals have to follow the corporate guidelines. Besides initiation of marketing measures also correct data management for the above mentioned vehicles has to be managed. The Assistant Manager - Product Management for smart is especially responsible for the launch process of new vehicles and the life cycle management of existing vehicles. |

| 1.Launch/Life cycle management Solely manage the launch of new smart products with all relevant parties, continuously develop the smart products by repositionings, spec enhancements, special editions, vehicle-related features. Provide all product-related data/information and support to delevop the smart brand in the market. 2.Data Management Prepare documentation for set up of master data for the above mentioned products Planning data submission in Impact DMS data submission Pricing database update 3.Monitor Product, Price & Product Specification Development in the market Evaluate product comparisons within market specific MB product portfolio and with competitors (for the above mentioned products); continually market observation and analyzes; define and propose product measures and link them into the MBCL lifecycle and launch plan. 4.Pricing & contribution preparation for F&C and Management: Prepare necessary information (China marketing plan); Conduct internal price/positioning discussions, Initiate contribution calculation. 5.Line-function for HQ (IPC) Prepare templates to collect requested feedback information from NEA on the respresponsible MRs upon HQ request, prepare IPC input on responsible MRs for the Chinese market. 6.DMS Co-ordination & Dealer communication DMS co-ordination with team members. Dealer communication, cooperating with MBCL S&M and external parties. 7.Research Definition of research objectives for the above mentioned products Analyzing of different research results from own research activities as well as Preparation of information exchange. |
| Qualification required |
| Education: Economics/Commerce (with marketing focus) or technical university degree or mechanical engineering / education with supplementary professional experience in the other subject each; experience in the automotive industry. Experience: min. 3 years working experience; international experience / working in an international company. Special Knowledge: Fluent (spoken/written) English and Mandarin; very good MS office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP knowledge; having driving license pv, good analyzing and structuring skills as well as presentation skills. Correctness of our vehicle configuration and pricing is dependent on the proper handling of complex data, this has to be done in a very confidential manner. It requires a detailed minded, reliable personality who is able to think comprehensively, works in an accurate manner, coordinating and managing complex data. This requires teamwork ability, as data co-ordination across departments is necessary, and afterall very detailed oriented working skills. |
