Job Description:

Objective of job
• Conduct retail market analysis & competitor network analysis for network planning of MB new cars, smart and used car business.
• Assist Manager to maintain, update & prepare reports of Network Master Plan and China retail network update
• Update and maintain Bi-weekly reports for retail network implementation used car network establishment and communicate within MBCL relevant departments.
• Maintain and update the retail network database, including Network Map Database, Competitor Registration Database, Competitor Car Population Database, Competitor Dealer Census, Economic Indicator Database and manage the database supplier.
• Support regional offices in implementation of network establishment projects.
• Assist Manager to maintain, update & support on Retail Formats including feasibility studies.
• File documentations of progresses and results on the negotiation with wholesale/retail partners.
Job designation
1. Network Analysis
• Conduct retail market analysis for network planning of MB new cars, smart and used car business.
• Conduct competitor network analysis
• Generate analysis report and network planning proposals
• Assist manager in network planning development and top management in network planning negotiation
• Communicate and interact with other departments in review and analysis of retail market.

2. Network Plan Update
• Maintain and update network planning project list in close coordination with regional offices. Consolidate updates and provide biweekly project status update to respective departments in MBCL.
• Assist manager in MB China network update report

3. Retail Network Database Management
• Update and maintain MB map database, Competitor Registration Database, Competitor Car Population Database, Competitor Dealer Census, Economic Indicator Database
• Manage map database supplier.

4. Retail Formats & Feasibility Study
• Assist Manager to maintain, update & support on Retail Formats Update and Feasibility Study
• Coordinate the input and output data with MBCL relevant dept and headquarter.
• Update financial simulation of Mercedes-Benz retail format based on negotiation result from relevant department.

5. Administrative Tasks
• File documentations of progresses and results on the negotiation with wholesale/retail partners and other interal administrative tasks.

Functionality Skills – Process and technical skills:
• Capable in financial data processing and analysis
• Computer literate, fluent in English and Chinese, both written and oral essential

Experience and education:
• Degree or Diploma in Business, Economics, or related Discipline
• 2-3 years relevant working experience, with minimum 2 years in sales&marketing/distribution/sales channel development area
• Previous experience in retail industry, research industry or in luxury brand would be an advantage

Mgt and leadership skills,
• Supplier negotiation and management
