Objective of job
Administrate and manage the fleet customer business development and back office including:
• Customer and prospect process and databases (FDB),
• Manage the sales planning for fleet channel,
• Manage proposal stock including customer conditions for the national key accounts including tracking planned sales volume per CA with actual
• Mange the dealer fleet centre's reporting and retail reporting from all dealers and check actual compared to plan
• Manage the process of validating fleet sales deals from the customer and the dealer
• Coordinate across departments all necessary steps to maintain the approval, ordering and invoicing of fleet vehicles
• Maintain market data and competitor information
• Organize the Fleet training process
• Initiate ad hoc business development projects in order to increase the competitiveness of MB Fleet Sales China
Job designation
1. Daily administration of customer database and FAN numbers
• Update customer information reflecting changes in personnel, contact information, latest MBCL contact, fleet drivers or fleet size
• Handle FAN application and supporting documents including verifying information, assigning FAN numbers
• Ensure total overview of ongoing customer engagement, e.g. keeping track of total orders, type of vehicles, contract terms and discounts offered
• Maintain overview of planned volume compared to actual on key accounts

2. Processing and clearing of Fleet orders and invoicing
• Keep track of outstanding Fleet orders
• Registering and filing of copy of sales contract and vehicle registration documents for every fleet vehicle
• Liaise with Sales Ordering team for fleet orders and invoicing
• Liaise with Product Management for changes in master data
• Liaise with Controlling team for calculation of fleet deal profitability

3. Maintaining an overview of MBCL support to dealers
• Keeping track of balance to be paid to dealer together with variable margin payout
• Liaise with F&C to Accounting to report on outstanding liabilities to dealers
• Communicate with ND and sales ordering team for the variable margin pay-out

4. Plan vehicle requirements and prepare vehicle ordering for fleet channel
• Keep track of volume submission for production of fleet channel vehicles
• Keep track of production and specification changes of vehicles
• Prepare colour and trim and specify point of delivery in accordance with vehicle demand
• Collect and manage NKAM's requirements for vehicle deliveries
• Oversee the transportation of cars between dealers when necessary

5. Consolidate sales and customer reporting from dealer fleet centers
• Follow up on dealer fleet sales pipe line
• Consolidate fleet centers top customer lists
• Consolidate customer fleet data and customer test drive data
• Consolidate other KPI's as stated in fleet policy
• Create weekly sales report for fleet channel

6. Drive the training and professional fleet sales people process making sure that all people in the fleet sales channel receive the best possible training

7. Initiate and drive business development projects that can further improve the competitiveness of MB Fleet

8. Secure the regular and updated provision of market and competitior date in

9. Manage Senior Officer Fleet Support in daily operations of the fleet back office
Qualification required
Skills:
Having experience from sales operations and preferably an interest in the automotive industry. Possess a positive, self-motivated outlook coupled with the ability to think analytically. Meticulous, tactful and diplomatic. Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, E-mail and Web.

Specific Knowledge:
Working knowledge of back-office sales support operations. (Specific knowledge of Automobile dealer operations a plus). Able to understand and interpret financial data. Ability to develop and develop sales tools and databases. Time Management, service and conflict resolution skills.

Education/Training:
Diploma in business administration, including a component of financial management. University degree demanded.
