Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd. invited dealers to F1 Shanghai GP
On 1st Oct 2006, the focused F1 Shanghai Grand Prix started. Taking this chance, Mercedes-Benz (China) Limited invited its dealers in the mainland get-together at Shanghai International Circuit to enjoy F1 Grand Prix in China, and to enhance the communication between each other.

On 30th Sept evening, a grand welcome dinner for the dealers and local press was held at Shanghai Four Seasons Hotel. During the dinner, with the show up of Kimi Räikkönen, F1 Team McLaren Mercedes' top quality driver, and Gary Paffett, the champion of DTM German Touring Car Masters 2005 and presently the Team McLaren Mercedes' test driver, the dinner was reached to the climax.

The next day, a cheering squad formed by over 70 invited dealers and Mercedes-Benz staffs struck a pose in Shanghai International Racing Field. The dealers gasped in admiration at the sublime starting ceremony and the wonderful confrontation between drivers. The successful undertaking of this event not only strengthened the cooperation between the manufacturer and dealers, but also deepened dealers' recognition and understanding of Mercedes-Benz brand, thereby accelerate the development of Mercedes-Benz dealer network, and more Mercedes-Benz customers can experience its unique characteristic closely while enjoying the outstanding products and services.

It is the company's inherited noble convention to sponsor and organize classic sports events in order to advocate active and healthy life style. Inviting dealers to enjoy F1 was to show the company's appreciation to the dealers for their close cooperation with
Mercedes-Benz for such a long time, meanwhile to enhance their confidence to Mercedes-Benz brand and channel, and also to demonstrate the integrated classic brand connotation and life style in Mercedes-Benz.
