On October 29, Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd. held a grand car handover ceremony together with Shanghai Star Automobile Service Co. Ltd, one of its dealers, and announced that they would provide 60 Mercedes-Benz sedans as official cars for Tennis Masters Cup this year, including 10 new Mercedes-Benz R350 Grand Sports Tourer and 50 Mercedes-Benz S350 sedans. Specially, Mercedes-Benz will offer a new R500 as the championship award for the Tennis Masters Cup. All official car drivers have been trained by Mercedes-Benz in order to assure safer and more meticulous services.
As the Principal Sponsor of the Tennis Masters Cup, Mercedes-Benz will also sponsor the Official Review which is sure to be a hit with fans in Shanghai. The game's elite singles players and doubles teams will be able to challenge line decisions for the first time at a season-ending championship, through the use of electronic line calling technology.
Sponsoring top-class sports events such as the Masters Series Tennis Tournament has been a fine tradition of Mercedes-Benz, and it also shows Mercedes-Benz's stylish appeal and extraordinary passion.
