Since then every SL has won a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts and become the epitome of the dream car.

The SL is a sports car though and through - but it is also one of the most comfortable vehicles in its class. As well as enjoying plenty of space, you will find yourself surrounded - depending on your choice of engine and options - by exclusive wood, aluminium or genuine carbon-fibre trim elements as well as fine leather upholstery (optional for the SL 350).
SL 350 sports engine
The V6 engine impresses with its smooth power delivery and exemplary refinement. The six-cylinder powerplant boasts an output of 272 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm at between 2400 and 5000 rpm. And acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes a mere 6.6 seconds.
