The comfortable, elegantly styled seats are the most prominent feature of the interior. However, many of the more minor details are thoroughly deserving of your attention too: the wood trim is adorned in parts by chrome applications and the seat's leather topstitching lends further emphasis to the cockpit's attractive two-tone colour scheme.

The instrument cluster keeps you up-to-date with the most important data: the selected drive mode. Optionally, you can also choose to receive this information from COMAND APS: in this case the navigation or audio data appears in a colour display in the dashboard console. The interior is maintained at a pleasant temperature at all times by the THERMATIC automatic climate control or the THERMOTRONIC luxury automatic climate control system, which is fitted in the GL 450 4MATIC and the air condition in the rear permits separate temperature all the time.
