



The Mercedes-Benz Junior Tennis Development Program comprises of a series of training sessions designed for Chinese junior tennis players under the age of 12. It aims to develop and prepare skilled and well-trained players to brighten the future of tennis in China.

Mercedes-Benz announced the company is sponsoring Anne-Sophie Mutter and the Trondheim Soloists 2008 Asia Tour. In sympathy with the victims and families of victims of the Sichuan earthquake, Anne-Sophie Mutter decided to donate one of her China concerts fees to Earthquake Disaster Relief through the International Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland.

As one of the organizers, Mercedes-Benz takes the chance to encourage more Chinese youngsters to work hard and be optimistic and positive when facing challenges, to aspire to self-achievement, and to become an essential power for social development.

January 1, 2008 BEIJING, the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd. and Beijing-Benz DaimlerChrysler Automotive Co. Ltd. (BBDC) jointly held a press conference to announce their strategic partnership, vastly contributing to the development of China's culture and arts.
