| Consulting of Mercedes-Benz dealerships with focus on process and organization and based on targets jointly defined by the MPC sales and network development department. Comprehensive analysis phase covering existing tasks and functions, processes, organization and qualification of dealership staff. Development of recommendations to optimize the processes and efficiency potentials in the dealership. Joint implementation of these recommendations with the responsible dealership staff telephone follow up activities and further support as required. Measurement of consulting target achievement as the basis to determine bonus payment to dealer. |
| Enhancement of retail consulting concept, approach and tools |
| Continuous enhancement of the market-specific retail consulting concept, approach and tools based on best practices from the dealers and additional material from relevant departments within the MPC or Daimler AG. Verification of enhancements with relevant departments within the MPC. |
| Establishment of information exchange with field force |
| Design of a process to ensure the information exchange between retail consulting and the sales and network development field force. Regular updates to the relevant field force colleagues regarding retail consulting activities of "their" dealers. |
| Establishment of best practice exchange |
| Design of a process to ensure the sharing of best practices within the retail network. Setting up of a best practice platform to ensure exchange of best practice with relevant departments within the MPC and DAIMLER AG. Participation in best practice exchange programs organized by Daimler AG. |
| Participation in cross-departmental projects |
| Participation in cross-departmental projects based on the level of knowledge (automotive retailing, consulting, etc.) if and when required. |
| Qualifications & Requirements: |
▪ Degree in business management or equivalent qualification (college, etc.)
▪ Comprehensive work experience - at least 4 years in operational sales in a Mercedes-Benz (preferred) or other dealership. Alternatively, experience as sales manager or business manager of a Mercedes-Benz (preferred) or other dealership in addition to operational sales experience.
▪ Analytical and conceptual skills, methodological skills (consulting skills preferred). Experience in leadership. Confident communicator, innovative system-thinker, empathetic and customer-oriented enabler. Fluent in English and good command of MS Office applications. Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz retail process and systems landscape. |
