The audio range delivers the latest in entertainment and communication. Featuring the Sound 20 radio (with additional telephone keypad), it also includes the Sound 50 APS, the entry-level radio and navigation system. It enables you to navigate, make phone calls, send and receive text messages – or simply listen to music.

As an option, the Viano Marco Polo WESTFALIA can be specified with a separate connection* for external audio devices, such as an iPod® or other MP3 players. An extra jack-type connector cable is required for linking up devices to the 3.5-mm jack socket which is available as an accessory.

The COMAND APS control and display system is available as an option for the Viano Marco Polo WESTFALIA. Integrated in the centre console, it centralises control of the radio, DVD player and, if fitted, the CD changer, telephone and sound and navigation system.

COMAND APS offers dynamic navigation using RDS/TMC functionality and a navigation DVD. If you want to navigate and listen to CD music at the same time, COMAND APS switches automatically from map to arrow-based navigation. The clear directions displayed in the instrument cluster mean that you will not be distracted from the business of driving.

If you hold something firmly in your hands, it won't slip away. In the Viano Marco Polo WESTFALIA this is particularly true of the optional multifunction steering wheel. In conjunction with the multifunction display and audio systems, it offers safety and ease of operation. Whether you want to change the radio volume, make a phone call or scroll through the multifunction display, you can do it all at the touch of a button – without taking your hands off the wheel.
