| The Mercedes-Benz Unimog is fitted with single wheels thus offering a wide range of tyres – from MPT multi-purpose tyres via high-traction deep-treaded tyres to extreme sand tyres. This enables better adaptation to the respective ground conditions. The rear wheels run in the track of the front wheels – resulting in lower rolling resistance and better traction. With tyrecontrol® - central tyre inflation system (optional) - you can adjust the tyre pressure to the terrain while driving. Lowering the air pressure prevents the vehicle sinking into soft subsoil, increases traction and thus avoids getting stuck. |
